Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year and the perfect opportunity to grab some bargains in the run-up to Christmas. Last year Brits spent a whopping £5.8 billion over the four days between Black Friday and Cyber Monday (typically the busiest day of the year for online shopping). John Lewis

Although a high-end retailer, John Lewis aren’t afraid of getting involved in Black Friday and it’s paying off; last year five orders were placed every second on their website at its busiest time. They also matched their competitors for deals on tech goods such as TVs, and they have excellent offers on womenswear, homewares and garden goods too. So, look out of high-quality items at low prices.


Boots have confirmed that they will be taking part in Black Friday this year, which is great news for all health and beauty lovers. Offers will include perfume, makeup, and electrical products. All of these products can make thoughtful and useful Christmas gifts for friends and family, or just a lovely treat for yourself!


Tesco is a very heavy hitter when it comes to Black Friday retailers, so much so that fights actually broke out in their stores a few years ago! And, last year, 250 Tesco Extra stores had to close between midnight and 5 am to allow staff to prepare for the sheer volume of people expected through the doors! Hopefully, Tesco has got some solid Black Friday plans in place to cope this year so that you can grab some great bargains with as little stress as possible.

Plus, you’ll know you’re getting the product at the best available price. Doing a price comparison will help you make sure you keep your spending in your preferred price range.
