Do you live in Manchester and want to influence the brands you love? Well, with market research, you can do just that. Yep, your individual thoughts and opinions could get heard by your favourite brands – and the best bit? With Angelfish, you’ll be paid for taking part. We run projects across the country, including paid market research in Manchester. To find out more about these studies, just read on…
Market research methodologies
Focus groups are a type of paid market research that involves a group of people getting together to discuss a particular product or service. They are moderated and led by a facilitator, who will ask questions and encourage participants to openly discuss their thoughts. We conduct focus groups in the city centre and surrounding areas of Manchester, and they’re always great fun. Plus, they are a great way to meet new people and earn a bit of extra cash!
Ethnographic market research studies are more in-depth and are carried out in real-life environments. A good example of an ethnographic study is an accompanied shop, where a moderator joins you on a shopping trip for a particular brand and observes your shopping habits. This then gives the brand ideas about how to improve their customer experience. In-home interviews are another type of ethnographic research that involves a researcher coming to your home to see how you use a certain product in your day-to-day life. Our ethnographic paid market research in Manchester is a fantastic way to get your voice heard by the brands you love.
Of course, if you’re not based in Manchester, or if you’d rather participate from the comfort of your home, you can take part in our online studies. Market research online communities are a type of research where you complete various tasks, activities and discussions with a group of other participants via an online platform. The best thing about MROCs is that they can often be completed at a time that suits you, by a certain deadline. We also recruit for online interviews, which is where you will discuss your opinions with a researcher via video call.
Who can take part?
Anyone over the age of 16 can apply to any of our studies. We conduct paid market research in Manchester as well as other locations, so check out our current projects to see what we have on at the moment. You don’t need to have any qualifications, only an interest in influencing the brands you know and love. We even carry out market research studies with children, which we recruit through parents – so there really is something for everyone!
